ESLC's 11th Annual Planning Conference

About Town: A Gathering to Uplift and Invest in Our Eastern Shore Towns

On Friday, February 26th, nearly 200 of our peers heard from national experts Jess Zimbabwe and Ken Snyder, a panel of local planners, officials and developers. We engaged in workshops on community design and process, and saw several excellent people and projects in the region honored with the Eastern Shore 2010 awards. To top it off, we enjoyed a bevy of local food, wines, beers and cheeses!

If you missed the About Town conference, fear not. We have a great set of resources coming online to so you can benefit from the event just as if you were there. We are posting conference photos, videos and presentations online to continue the dialogue about our special towns. This meeting was only the beginning of a regional reinvestment in the places we have come to love as our home towns. The videos, photos and presentations can be found by clicking the appropriate link and you can also check out the live blog from the conference by clicking here.

Watch for updates to the About Town conference web page as we will be posting updates, new videos and presentations over the course of the next few weeks. We hope you will stay engaged in this important conversation about the design of our special towns in the coming month
