We just held our 2018 Volunteer Gathering on Wednesday, January 31st at the Eastern Shore Conservation Center. More than 25 ESLC volunteers, both old and new, joined us for a presentation about our programs and to share in some conversation over hors d'oeuvres! If you missed it - not to worry! Our work is supported by a base of dedicated, warm and knowledgeable volunteers. Last year, volunteers contributed 2,000 hours, which is worth about $40,000 to our organization. We could not do the work we do without their help. We have lots of interesting opportunities to volunteer for our organization.
Spending time outside? Shaping the way your community grows? Meeting others that are passionate about the same issues that you are? Gaining valuable life experience for your future? You don’t have to be in a position of authority to be a leader. Volunteer!
