Learn how prescribed burns can help manage invasive species and enhance meadow habitats at Oxford Conservation Park. Hosted by Talbot County Parks & Recreation, the Friends of Oxford Conservation Park, the Maryland Department of Natural Resources, the Natural Lands Project, and Eastern Shore Land Conservancy, this presentation will outline the planned prescribed burn at the park, including how prescribed fires work and their role in shaping effective land management.
Our two main speakers will be:
