Larisa Prezioso

Larisa Prezioso

Interim Director of Land Conservation

Larisa joined ESLC in January 2020 as a Conservation Assistant, and has since served multiple roles within the organization covering stewardship, preserve management, and restoration. She now serves as ESLC’s Interim Director of Land Conservation. As Interim Director of Land Conservation, Larisa provides leadership for land protection, stewardship, and restoration programs. She also manages and coordinates acquisition and conservation easement projects.

Larisa was born and raised surrounded by ample conserved open space in the highland mountains of Hunterdon County, New Jersey, and has nurtured a love of all things nature her entire life. Wanting to pursue a career and life dedicated to conservation and the environment, she decided to attend Washington College in Chestertown after falling in love with the waters and lands of the Chesapeake landscape. She received her BS in 2019 as a double major in Environmental Science and Ecology with a minor in Chemistry. After graduating from Washington College, Larisa ultimately decided to exchange Jersey mountains for Coastal Plains meadows and saltmarshes and moved back to the Eastern Shore to begin working for ESLC. She currently lives in the town of Easton with her partner, Trevor, and their two cats from Talbot Humane. Outside of the office, Larisa is a master naturalist and docent volunteer at Adkins Arboretum. She finds delight and joy in bird watching, photography, painting in gouache, knitting, pulling shots of espresso, and gardening with native plants.
