Eastern Shore Land Conservancy Request for Proposals (RFPs)

RFP: Financial Services

ESLC requests initial indications of interest from qualified, experienced organizations with a proven track record in managing investments and endowments for non-profit organizations. Please refer to our most recent Form 990 for preliminary information. Based on preliminary indications of interest, we will determine from whom we will request further information. ESLC reserves the right to reject any or all indications of interest.

Initial indication of interest

The initial indication of interest should be no more than two pages, articulating the respondent’s qualifications to be considered. Submissions of more than two pages will be viewed unfavorably. Please send your initial indication of interest, by close of business August 15, 2025, to Lauren Halterman, Director of Finance and Operations, at lhalterman@eslc.org.

RFP: Survey

Eastern Shore Land Conservancy is working with Cacaway Farm Corporation on a 156-acre conservation easement for their property in Kent County, MD. ESLC is requesting proposals for a standard boundary survey of the easement area with concrete boundary markers placed at each corner. As this is a Permanent CREP Easement, the survey must also include delineation and accurate acreage for three areas: CREP Contract Areas, CREP Matching Areas, and Additional Easement Areas, as roughly outlined on the attached CREP map and Conservation Plan map for the property. More information may be found here.
