Fall Color Paddle

Title: Fall Color Paddle
Location: Turners Creek Park
Description: Join us for an autumn paddle down the peaceful, placid waters of the Sassafras River. Enjoy the vistas of Kent and Cecil counties like you have never seen them before. The fall foliage, Canada geese, miles of white sandy beaches, wild turkeys and bald eagles will be seen through the eyes of Captain John Smith on his voyage of 1608 and the Tockwogh Indians who lived and thrived along those shores.
Participants who own canoes, kayaks or life jackets should bring them. A limited number of canoes, kayaks and life jackets will be available for those who do not have them. Register by Oct. 28. Ages 12 and younger, $5; Ages 13 and older, $10. Call 410-348-5214 or email dclarke@eslc.org
