Party To Preserve

Register To Attend

Celebrate land conservation on the Eastern Shore and soak up some stunning Tuckahoe Creek views at this year’s Party to Preserve!

What could be better than joining together with friends, old and new, on one of the most beautiful properties in Caroline County? Now more than ever, it is essential to protect the land that gives us so much – food, beauty, community, and a refuge from the stresses of uncertain times. Now is the time to prioritize local agriculture, outdoor recreation, and resilient communities.

We are grateful to the Jaeger family for sharing Daffin House, their beautiful farm in Denton, Maryland, for this year’s Party to Preserve. Daffin House, permanently protected in 2002, is situated on Tuckahoe Creek and its 268-acre conservation easement provides opportunities for farming, hunting, and water access.

This year, we will be honoring Bill D’Alonzo, who served on the ESLC Board of Directors from July 2018 to June 2024, and as Chair of the Board for the last three years. Bill has been an outstanding leader for ESLC. During his tenure, he led the search committee to replace the outgoing organization president who was retiring after 30 years, helping to guide ESLC through the transition. Bill also maintained high staff morale and effectively communicated with the board during the COVID pandemic. Anyone who knows Bill understands that he commits fully to anything he does, giving generously of his time and financial resources. Please help us honor Bill at Party to Preserve.
