Come bird watch with Eastern Shore Land Conservancy at one of their Preserves in Queen Anne’s County, right off of Bennett Point Road. Protected since 1998 and co-owned with Chesapeake Wildlife Heritage, this conservation property boasts abundant habitat types: 140 acres of mature forest, grassland, and 107 acres of shallow freshwater emergent wetland. Walk with us through this unique diversity, learn about its importance and management needs, all while we watch birds!

This event is part of our 3rd Annual Bird Conservation Series.

These events will discuss the organizations, programs, resources, research, and efforts that exist on the Eastern Shore that support the conservation of our resident and migratory bird species.

Please join us as we tour the shore through the lens of bird conservation!
