It Was a Beautiful Day for a LANDJAM!

On Saturday, June 1st more than 200 adults and children of all ages joined ESLC staff & volunteers to celebrate the land at our 2nd annual LANDJAM event. Held on the Leigh Farm in Betterton (Kent County), guests were treated to guided nature walks, hiking trails, games, local food vendors, and some tasty live music courtesy of Chestertown’s The High & Wides and Easton-based Black Dog Alley.

While the 2018 inaugural event was rained out, this year’s weather did not disappoint and delivered on ESLC’s goal of providing an affordable, family-friendly event on a piece of preserved land that the vast majority of residents don’t get to experience.

A BIG thanks goes out again to our title sponsor Forefront Power (https://www.forefrontpower.com/eslc-partnership-blog/); lead sponsors Urban Grid (http://www.urbangridav.com), KRM Development Corporation (https://www.krm-dev.com), and Dogfish Head Brewing (https://www.dogfish.com), and others who helped to make it such a special day celebrating land preservation on the Eastern Shore!
